Capsicum fruitescens (Capsicum)Capsicum fruitsscens is obtained from fruits of paprika and is standardized as per the AAFCO requirements for pet feed ingredients. Capsicum can be added in pet food to provide characteristic flavor to the food, as well as provide a soothing feeling to the digestive system. It also helps to fight bad mouth odor.

Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamon ceylon)Cinnamomum is an excellent food ingredient for dry pet food, treats, and canned food. It can be used in pet food as well as supplements to provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity for pets. The anti-inflammatory activity is important for older pets prone to inflammatory conditions such as joint pain.

Trigonella foenum graecum (Fenugreek)Fenugreek is an annual plant in the Fabaceae family with multiple health benefits that also functions as a flavor enhancer in the pet food. A rich source of many vitamins and minerals (vitamins A, C, and B vitamins, potassium, iron and calcium), Fenugreek can improve digestion, and keep skin and coat healthy. Fenugreek helps decrease inflammation and also can lower blood glucose. Fenugreek powder for pet food is superb because for fussy eaters it encourages appetite and will also aid digestion, being a mild but effective laxative. Fenugreek is excellent for increasing milk production in lactating dogs, and it assists with lowering cholesterol.
